ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE

Clinical Trials for people with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease:

• Bapineuzumab
  Bapineuzumab binds to and clears beta amyloid peptide, and is designed to provide antibodies to beta amyloid directly to the patient.

Clinical Trial for people with severe Alzheimer’s disease:

• Rivastigmine Patch (Exelon Patch)
  This study will assess the efficacy of a higher and lower dose of the rivastigmine patch.

PARKINSON’S DISEASE

Clinical Trials for people with mild Parkinson’s disease:

• Safinamide
  Safinamide is an inhibitor of MAO-B.  MAO-B inhibitors slow the breakdown of dopamine in the brain.
